EXPANDED COVERAGE
Media Tour
In an effort to grow the scope of our media relationships and secure additional coverage, we coordinated a New York media tour for Velera to promote the inaugural first-party research study, Eye on Payments. For the first time, FWV and Velera expanded outreach to include consumer publications like The Wall Street Journal. We ultimately secured six interviews and more than 4.5 million earned media impressions. Today, FWV continues to provide support on the annual Eye on Payments research project.
A RECORD-BREAKING OUTCOME
Annual Conference
Each April, Velera hosts its annual conference, VeleraLIVE, for existing and potential credit union owners, partners, employees and media. Leading up to these events, FWV works with PSCU to coordinate major announcements, culminating in the conference itself. FWV has secured millions of earned media impressions and multiple feature placements in top-tier media outlets surrounding this event.

The Launch
We helped Velera successfully launch its inaugural first-party research study, Eye on Payments. Findings were used to craft human-driven stories that were utilized as media hooks to foster relationships and secure targeted coverage. FWV generated more than 4.5 million earned media impressions as a result of our proactive outreach.
