Dedicated to ending the global food crisis by the year 2030, Rise Against Hunger (RAH) is a global operation with nearly 400,000 volunteers, producing and packaging nutritious meals that are distributed around the world. More than 428 million meals have been delivered to communities in need throughout 74 countries. Aligned with UN global relief efforts, RAH programs include skills training and education, clean water initiatives, business and agricultural assistance, health and nutrition awareness, and crisis response. Global mobilization will not only help provide food to the world’s most vulnerable populations, but also provide life-changing aid, education and food stability in hunger insecure regions.

This is Possible

The Campaign

FWV was tapped to lead the development of an international grassroots movement to help RAH achieve its mission through global awareness, engagement and activism. FWV developed the This is Possible” campaign to increase awareness worldwide. RAH partnered with the UN through a co-op for NGOs around the world to use the This is Possible” tagline in its efforts to address the world hunger problem on a global scale.

Rise at Time Square

The Launch

RAH and FWV officially launched the This is Possible” campaign with a Times Square takeover in New York City over President’s Day Weekend. Thousands of passersby had the chance to learn more and show their support by taking the pledge to grow the movement to end world hunger. In addition to asking people in and around Times Square to take the pledge, supporters were also encouraged to spread the word on social media using the hashtag #2030isPossible.
