Accountant

French I West I Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading integrated marketing agencies, is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete day to day operations of the accounting function and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data for accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger transactions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily transactions including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, journal entries, and bank reconciliations for French West Vaughan and affiliated agencies
  • Ensure accuracy of the accounts payable aging report
  • Identify and research accounting issues and recommend reconciliations/​improvements to align company’s policies and procedures with company’s targets 
  • Responsible for client invoicing and revenue recognition for French West Vaughan and affiliated agencies
  • Communication with Senior Leadership and Account Executives about collections on past-due accounts; maintain an accurate aging report for French West Vaughan and affiliated agencies
  • Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations: prepaids, accrued expenses, fixed assets and intangibles for French West Vaughan and associated entities
  • Perform timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
  • Work closely with the media team to ensure proper processes of billing, revenue recognition and vendor invoice application
  • Complete ad hoc reporting, project requests and other duties as assigned 

Specific Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance related field
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, and basic accounting and taxation principles and practices.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and other accounting software systems. Advantage experience is a plus. 
  • The ability to learn quickly, multitask, and communicate effectively

Media Director

French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading integrated marketing agencies, is seeking an accomplished Media Director to lead its in-house team, including overseeing research, development and implementation of media plans on behalf of agency clients. In this role, you will not only develop the strategy for client campaigns, but also appropriately delegate tasks based on skillsets, affinity and performance and be able to motivate the media team in a way that maximizes output and results on schedule and within budget. The media director will also be expected to stay on top of current and forward-thinking trends, in new distribution channels, as well as client-specific industries.

The Media Director will develop marketing programs leveraging insights and analytics to create and implement consumer-focused marketing campaigns to meet and exceed the goals of our clients. A successful candidate will be an integral member of our team responsible for a wide variety of account management and marketing duties with a focus on digital proficiency – though traditional media planning/​buying is also required. This position is a client-facing role, which requires flexibility, organization, strong time management skills, attention to detail, commitment to meet crucial deadlines, negotiation prowess, analytical and self-learning skills, and the ability to lead.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day media team management while also leading the process of strategic media planning/​buying
  • Develop and present to stakeholders a compelling story articulating the business problem, outlining solutions, and framing outcomes.
  • Oversee the media team’s set up, management, and execution of ongoing marketing plans for clients including developing recommendations, execution details and budgets, and leading and directing the development of client presentations
  • Oversee the media’s team’s creation and implementation of marketing strategies using a variety of tactics, which may include: digital media, SEO, social media, web analytics, conversion rate optimization, lead generation, and other tactics for full funnel campaigns that deliver a quantifiable ROI.
  • Research and implement new techniques and technologies relevant to clients’ media strategies, draw insight from campaign results, and ensure dialogue with client and internal team on informed strategic implications
  • Oversee and help analyze as applicable website traffic reports, linking structures, codes, and content to be able to make smart recommendations to increase KPIs: website traffic, the number of quality leads, and conversion rates, among others
  • Oversee team management of internal and external digital marketing partners, vendors and resources to meet deliverables
  • Act as the in-house digital marketing subject matter expert staying on top of trends and best practices
  • Present plans and presentations to clients and stakeholders

Required Skills, Background and Education

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is highly motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated client services/​account management experience; ability to manage multiple projects and team members concurrently
  • Advanced background in digital/​programmatic planning/​buying
  • Identify and articulate client needs, and build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent organization and time management skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics: digital media, SEO, web analytics, and email marketing
  • Strong Negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze performance data and develop recommendations for marketing programs across multiple channels with a focus on digital
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 – 9+ years of experience in marketing planning and campaign/​program execution
  • Experience with the majority of the following: Google Analytics, Google Search ConsoleGoogle Ads, Facebook Business Manager, SEM Rush
  • Website Conversion Rate Optimization

Digital certifications, and additional experience while not required, are helpful:

  • Hubspot Inbound Marketing Certification
  • Marketing Automation experience (Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, Etc.)
  • Proficiency with Wordpress and familiarity with other CMS platforms
  • Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS
  • DV360 and Campaign Manager experience
