SOCIAL MEDIA & INFLUENCER MARKETING SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION:

French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading integrated marketing agencies, is seeking an accomplished Social Media and Influencer Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in our downtown Raleigh, NC. In this role you will support a range of social media and influencer marketing assignments with responsibilities including content creation, writing, project management, community management, research, campaign tracking, reporting and analytics. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Manages social media channels on behalf of agency clients including posting content, executing paid social campaigns, engaging with users, monitoring and reporting
  • Develops engaging social media content optimized for social media platforms
  • Contributes to and implements influencer marketing plans for clients
  • Collaborates with social, PR and creative teams to brainstorm out-of-the box social media and influencer marketing content and campaigns
  • Stays up to date with social media trends and shares those out internally and with clients
  • Builds and maintains relationships with social media influencers
  • Coordinates aspects of influencer programs, such as list development, invite responses, and tracking
  • Assists with day-to-day client communication
  • Travels to live events and provides on-site social media coverage, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Has a demonstrated passion for and understanding of social media and proactively pursues opportunities to evolve skills and knowledge of best practices
  • Has experience utilizing reporting tools including native platform insights and understands the importance of social media metrics
  • Has a practical understanding of all social media platforms including Facebook Business Manager
  • Possesses attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle projects effectively
  • Is able to build and nurture relationships internally and with clients
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and sharp writing skills
  • Has an eye for visual aesthetics, including formatting and layout, and produces polished client deliverables
  • Possesses resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS degree in marketing or related fields 

2 – 3 years in a relevant position, agency experience preferred

Account Coordinator

The right candidate will support public relations programs; pitch national, regional and local media outlets; develop press materials; and assist with creative and digital projects. This is an entry-level position for candidates with up to 18 months of public relations experience, including prior internships.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of public relations and integrated marketing plans
  • Create press releases, pitches, client backgrounders, fact sheets and other press assets
  • Utilize online technologies, especially social media

Account Executive

French | West | Vaughan is seeking an experienced, integrated marketing account executive. The right candidate will support a range of integrated accounts involving public relations, creative projects, advertising/​digital media, social media community management/​content creation and website project management. Candidates should have 2 – 4 years of marketing/​public relations experience, with preference shown to candidates with agency and project management experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead role in executing integrated marketing plans and strongly supporting project management activities
  • Project management and trafficking of initiatives with agency’s advertising and creative departments
  • Project management of client website projects, primarily new site builds (coordinating content, design and copywriting workflow)
  • Manage client social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more
  • Create and maintain social media content calendars
  • Ideate and write email marketing content

Account Supervisor

French | West | Vaughan is seeking an experienced public relations and social media associate. The right candidate will oversee accounts and supporting team members; develop and manage strategic public relations and social media programs; pitch national, regional and local media outlets; serve as the day-to-day contact for agency clients. Candidates should have 5 – 8 years of relevant experience, with preference shown to candidates with agency experience and creative and digital project management skills.

Senior Account Executive

French | West | Vaughan seeks a senior account executive for its Raleigh office. The right candidate will manage and lead B2B public relations programs; pitch national, regional and local media outlets; develop press materials; and manage creative and digital projects. Candidates should have three to five years of public relations experience, with preference shown to candidates who have led or worked on business focused public relations accounts. Your writing skills and client facing abilities should be stellar.

Content Strategist

French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading integrated marketing agencies, is seeking a Content Strategist to lead and execute the strategic development of brand content for the agency, which encompasses some of the most recognized brands worldwide. Working collaboratively with Account Management, Creative and Social Media teams, you will leverage brand/​client category, competitor and audience insights along with marketing trends and insights to craft content strategies that will deliver upon brand/​client goals and work to help brands/​clients break through their respective category clutter in memorable ways. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a connector between account, creative and social media teams to guide and lead the strategic development of content plans, ensuring the various touchpoints of such content plans and subsequent execution, deliver upon the core strategy, and the brand’s/client’s marketing and business goals 
  • Guide brands/​clients in identifying and articulating their content strategy, and ultimately crafting the core content platform and associated messaging
  • Lead the development of content activation from inception to execution 
  • Research, identify and bring to light inspiring insights, briefs and narratives for internal teams and clients 
  • Lead ongoing category, competitive, consumer/​target audience and industry analysis 
  • Facilitate and direct brainstorming sessions in collaboration with creative, social/​influencer, digital and account management teams

Desired skills and experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic content planning in an agency environment

  • Passionate, curious and enthusiastic about consumer behavior, marketing industry trends, research, branding and strategy
