Raleigh-Based Firm Earns Seventh Agency-of-the-Year Award in Last 18 Months

RALEIGH (Oct. 17, 2017) – French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV) one of the nation’s largest independently-owned public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, continues to punctuate a remarkable 20th anniversary year by winning top honors in four major categories in the Bulldog Reporter’s 2017 Stars of PR Awards, including the competition’s most prestigious accolade, the Grand Prize for Best PR Agency of 2017.

Along with the Agency Grand Prize, FWV earned first-place Gold Awards for Business-to-Consumer PR Agency of the Year, Midsize Agency of the Year and Most Innovative Agency. In addition, FWV Chairman & CEO Rick French was honored with a Silver Award for Agency Leader of the Year.

The Stars of PR Awards were judged by an esteemed panel of journalists from organizations such as Forbes and The Washington Post, including one Pulitzer Prize winner.

FWV, the only N.C.-based public relations firm to ever earn Agency of the Year honors, has now captured 12 National Agency of the Year awards in its illustrious 20-year history, including seven in the past 18 months. The agency also earned a Top 10 ranking this year in the Holmes Report Global Creative Index, and made its debut among the country’s top 15 PR firms, ranked No. 14 nationally and No. 1 in the Southeast by industry trade journal, O’Dwyer’s. FWV is listed as the nation’s third largest Consumer-focused PR firm in the 2017 PR Week global rankings.
