FWV supports teams at the NC Department of Transportation, including the Governor’s Highway Safety Program (GHSP), NC by Train, the Ferry Division and the Turnpike Authority. Our efforts span agency wide, with creative marketing, paid media, social media, influencer marketing and public relations. Under GHSP, we have crafted award-winning campaigns for Booze It & Lose It, Click It or Ticket, Speed a Little Lose a Lot, and Watch for Me. As NC drivers ourselves, we take pride in helping NC DOT deliver these important messages in ways that grab attention and change behavior in positive ways.

SOBER ADVICE FROM BILLY THE BUCK

TV, RADIO, LANDING PAGE & IN-BAR ACTIVATIONS

Drunk driving is the number one cause of death on our roadways, taking a life every 39 minutes. NCDOT looked to FWV to create a campaign that would capture the attention of bar-going drivers, and remind them of the consequences of driving while impaired. We turned to someone who has seen his fair share of people making bad decisions after drinking. He hangs out above a bar and has a passion for advising people to do the right thing.

HOW IT PERFORMED

PAID MEDIA RESULTS

Creative for the campaign placed in the top 18% of all ads measured. This is 2x better than industry standards, outperforming Super Bowl ads measured by the same vendor. Even better, over 1 in 3 respondents were able to recall the brand unaided. I mean, it’s hard to ignore a talking deer!
