Panther’s owner, David Tepper, was awarded a new MLS expansion team, Charlotte FC, in December 2019. Knowing that the team would need to build awareness and support approaching their inaugural 2022 season, Charlotte FC approached FWV as a partner to assist with one of the biggest announcements — their primary kit. FWV announced the kit on December 9, 2021 with a long-form announcement video that would be shown at events and shared on social media to build anticipation for the season and encourage season ticket purchases.

KIT LAUNCH VIDEO, GRAPHIC & WEB BANNERS
To support the kit launch video, FWV created supporting digital banner ads and a digital billboard design that would be placed on supporting websites and surrounding Charlotte areas encouraging views to the video. FWV also created kit detail graphics that would unveil the primary kit to their email database to make supporters aware of the announcement.

As an additional wave of support, FWV developed a secondary banner ad and digital billboard creative that would highlight the support that Charlotte FC already has with their fan base and encourage ticket purchases for the inaugural match on March 5, 2022. As of February 1, 2022 Charlotte FC has sold over 60,000 tickets for the match- nearing their goal of 74,000 attendees to set a new record for attendance on a first home match.
