RALEIGH, N.C. (June 14, 2022) — French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s 20 largest independently held public relations and integrated marketing agencies, along with operating division CGPR, a public relations agency specializing in the active lifestyle, outdoor, winter sports, fashion, technology and travel sectors, today announced they have been selected in tandem to provide public relations support for Reima USA, Inc., a 78-year-old, world-leading sustainable activewear brand for kids from Finland.

Aiming to keep children and the planet safe, Reima combines innovative technology, world-class design and function, emphasizing the small details that make a big difference. At its core, Reima prioritizes an active childhood by producing sustainable, safe and quality products for use all year round, built to last for generations. Reima’s material innovations and recycling initiatives have led to rapid international expansion over the past five years, with three-quarters of a century of expertise. Reima continues to think of every detail to champion any adventure a child explorer embarks.

We are eager to partner with a brand committed to outfitting children from 0 – 14 so they can confidently explore the world around them,” said Jenny Pilewski, executive vice president at FWV. Reima’s mission and product offering are exceptional, and its strategic expansion plans in North America are particularly timely as we recognize the benefits of being outside, now more than ever.”

FWV and CGPR will provide Reima with strategic PR planning, messaging development and trade and consumer media relations targeting editors, reporters and writers in the retail, apparel, sustainability, kids’ gear, outdoor and accessories industry beats. They will also handle product seeding to broaden Reima’s reach to key celebrities and influencers.

We are thrilled to reach new audiences and further share our story using the longstanding connections FWV and CGPR have with our target audiences,” said Reima, Inc.’s Head of North America Todd Starcevich. We believe so strongly in an active childhood, and we trust that our safe, innovative and responsible products will continue to have a positive impact through this strategic agency partnership.”
