Agency adds aerial adventure park to roster of travel and tourism clients

RALEIGH, N.C. (March 2, 2016) – French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading independently held public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, has been selected by the aerial adventure park High Gravity Adventures as its marketing agency. This addition to FWV’s Travel & Tourism practice also expands the agency’s presence in the Western North Carolina market.

High Gravity Adventures, located adjacent to Tweetsie Railroad off the Blue Ridge Parkway between Boone and Blowing Rock, opened in April 2015. FWV has already begun providing public relations support and counsel, concentrating on the upcoming season opening on March 18. Efforts will focus on increasing awareness of High Gravity Adventures as the High Country’s newest attraction and ultimately driving visitation and ticket sales. For a limited time until opening day, general admission tickets and season passes for the park are available for a discounted price online.

FWV’s breadth of experience in the Travel & Tourism space is extensive and will be a huge asset for High Gravity Adventures as we build our brand,” says Ken Jacquot, President of High Gravity Adventures. The agency’s expertise will be especially valuable as we seek to reach people outside of the immediate Boone/Blowing Rock area.”

High Gravity Adventures features 75 aerial elements for guests of all skill to climb, balance and swing from heights of 15 to 50 feet while securely fastened in a full-body harness. Participants have the freedom to climb their way through a maze of cargo nets, aerial bridges, tight-rope walks, swinging foot loops, floating platforms, spiders’ webs, and many more unique challenges. These elements offer both physical and mental challenges, creating the opportunity for people of all ages – starting as young as four-years-old – and abilities to experience the vertical world.

FWV will also work with High Gravity Adventures to establish strategic partnerships with lodging partners, colleges and universities, and other outdoor outfitters in the area, along with coordinating special events intended to drive traffic throughout the season.

The High Country is a popular destination for families, those in search of soft’ outdoor adventure and even adventure junkies,” said FWV President David Gwyn. We plan on making sure all of these groups add High Gravity Adventures to their list of things to do when they are in the High Country.”
