French/West/Vaughan (FWV), the Southeast’s most highly decorated independently held advertising, public relations and digital marketing agency, added to its already lengthy list of superlatives by winning 18 American Advertising (Addy) Awards at the 2016 Triangle Advertising Federation Gala.
With more than 40,000 entries every year, the American Advertising Awards is the industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising. French/West/Vaughan now advances to one of 15 regional competitions, before nationals in June at the Disneyland® Resort in California.
“Creativity is the core of our business,” said FWV Creative Director Dawn Strzepek. “It comes from having an extremely talented team, and terrific clients that entrust us to do great work.”
FWV won Judges Choice for Innovative Use of Campaign Elements for the Pendleton Whisky Midnight-isms digital advertising campaign. In addition, FWV earned five gold awards, six silver awards and six bronze awards on behalf of clients including VF Corporation, Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau, Brand Napa Valley and Hood River Distillers. FWV won awards in categories including brand identity, branded content, art direction, social media, mass transit, invitations, website, audio visual, cinematography and national consumer integrated campaign.
FWV has amassed more than 750 national, regional and local awards. It is the only agency in the Southeast to be named a National Agency of the Year (4x) and a Consumer Agency of the Year (3x).
