FWV Shines Again, Taking Top Honors in 2016 Bulldog Media Relations Awards

FWV continues to receive accolades from the PR industry, recently earning honors in five categories from the 2016 Bulldog Media Relations Awards, including two gold awards, the competition’s top prize.

The awards are produced and judged by the Bulldog Reporter, the PR trade journal read by more than 60,000 PR and communications professionals.

The gold awards included Best Use of Personality/​Celebrity for the campaign titled, Unlikely Advocate Michael Vick Lobbies for Animal Welfare.” The program featured NFL quarterback Michael Vick and his advocacy before the Pennsylvania Legislature to strengthen an animal welfare law.

Gold was also awarded to FWV for Best Travel, Hospitality & Destinations Campaign. Showcasing the Best of the West – Dude Ranch-Style,” told the story of the agency’s work on behalf of the Dude Ranchers Association, the organization dedicated to preserving the lifestyle of the American West through hospitality, adventure and tourism.

FWV also took home two Silver awards, including Best Campaign Under $100,000, a PR program for NATHAN, the innovative running lifestyle accessories brand. NATHAN Pushes Potential of Media Relations” recognized the achievements of FWV in generating positive media coverage for NATHAN products. Also claiming Silver was the FWV program for the Veteran Golfers Association, Golf Driving PTSD Road to Recovery,” honored as Best Campaign Under $10,000.

Taking Bronze in the category of Best Special Event/​Stunt was Riders by Lee Shines New Light on Body Positivity with Mirror, Mirror NYC Media Event.” The press event in Manhattan engaged fashion journalists from consumer lifestyle publications and national media outlets, introducing them to the Riders apparel line from Lee while promoting the benefits of maintaining a healthy body image for women.

On the heels of being named National Consumer Agency of the Year in 2015, FWV is excited to have its work recognized yet again by the Bulldog Reporter and the 2016 Bulldog Media Relations Awards. Thank you to everyone involved in these prestigious annual honors!
