FWV Leads All Winners at Triangle American Advertising Awards with Five Top Honors, Takes 14 Overall


RALEIGH (Feb. 22, 2019) – French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV) one of the nation’s largest independently-owned public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies led all winners in the prestigious Gold and Judges Choice categories at the 2018/2019 Triangle American Advertising Awards held Thursday night in downtown Raleigh, claiming five of the evening’s top honors and 14 overall.

Hosted by Triangle AdFed, the area’s chapter of the American Advertising Federation, the American Advertising Awards (formerly the ADDYs) is the industry’s largest and most representative competition, designed to recognize excellence in the art of advertising.

The awards were judged by an elite industry panel that included Leigh Farrior, ADDY Award-winning production director for Montgomery, Alabama creative agency Stamp; veteran writer and creative director Tony Sharpe, formerly with FCB Chicago; and New York-based creative director Marie Richer, a member of the Television Academy and the international jury of the FWA whose work has been awarded at Cannes, the One Show, D&AD and the Clios.
