Raleigh-Based Agency Retains Spot Among 15 Largest U.S. Firms

RALEIGH (May 29, 2018) – French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV) one of the nation’s largest independently-owned public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, continues to assert its influence on the national agency scene, as evidenced by the recently published 2018 O’Dwyer’s Ranking of Top U.S. PR Firms.

O’Dwyer’s once again ranks FWV as the 14th largest U.S. based PR firm based on audited annual fee billings and No. 1 in the Southeast, a distinction the Raleigh-based firm has held since 2001. The agency maintained its No. 2 position nationally in both the Beauty & Fashion and Sports & Leisure categories, moved up two slots to No. 4 in Entertainment and held steady at No. 8 in Agriculture, followed by Top 15 rankings in Food & Beverage (No. 11), Travel & Economic Development (No. 11) and Home Furnishings (No. 12). FWV also earned top 20 category rankings in Environmental/​Public Affairs (No. 19) and Professional Services (No. 20).

FWV employs over 100 associates among its Raleigh, New York, Tampa and Los Angeles offices. The firm is led by its founder, Chairman and CEO Rick French, together with partners David Gwyn, president, and Natalie Best, executive vice president.
