French | West | Vaughan Client Wrangler Network Receives Top Industry Awards

Posted

While the western community gathered in Las Vegas for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (Wrangler NFR) this week, the governing bodies of the sport – the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) – held their annual awards banquets and honored the Wrangler Network with two prestigious awards. The PRCA presented the leading western lifestyle multimedia platform with the 2015 Media Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism,” and the WPRA presented the Wrangler Network with its Media Award.”

We are thrilled at what the Wrangler Network has added to the sport of ProRodeo,” said Karl Stressman, commissioner of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Having unique content available 24 – 7 is a great way for our fans to follow our athletes both in and out of the arena.”

Each year, the PRCA and WPRA’s board of directors recognize its partners who have excelled in benefitting the sport of ProRodeo, its athletes and all partners involved in the organizations. This year, FWV is privileged to see longtime client Wrangler added to this list.

With support of partner agencies and led by FWV, in December 2013 Wrangler launched the Wrangler Network to fill a void in the western marketplace for live rodeo coverage. Today, the Network is the leading mobile and online destination for live rodeo coverage and western lifestyle content.
