Agency Also Ranked Among the Top 10 Creative Firms Globally
RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 3, 2016) – French West Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s largest independently-owned public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, has been named a finalist for Global Consumer Agency of the Year by the Holmes Report, a leading PR and marketing trade journal. The honor comes on the heels of FWV’s selection earlier this year as 2016 North American Consumer Agency of the Year.

The finalist nomination augments what has been a watershed year for FWV as the agency has also been ranked in the Top 10 of the 2016 Global Creative Index, the Holmes Report’s annual benchmark of creativity in the public relations industry. The Global Creative Index, using a weighted scoring system that accounts for the overall size of the agency, analyzes campaigns entered in more than 25 PR, digital and marketing awards programs from around the world. The rankings are an evaluation of “pond-for-pound” creativity, originality and innovation in strategy and execution, together with campaign results.
The index ranked FWV #10 globally, and sixth among U.S. agencies.
“Being ranked in the Top 10 in the world based on our creative approach and execution is a tribute to the remarkable talent we have here at FWV,” said Rick French, Chairman & CEO. “I’m very happy for our team and appreciate the recognition from the analysts and PR industry thought leaders who put so much time and effort into these rankings.”
In addition, it was announced the Holmes Report will be recognizing an FWV campaign for longtime client Wrangler with one of 40 Global SABRE Awards, one of the PR and marketing industry’s highest honors. The competition selects the best campaigns from among more than 5,000 entries from around the world. In May, FWV and Wrangler won “Branded Journalism” campaign of the year at the 2016 North American SABRE Awards for the creation and curation of the wildly popular online Wrangler Network.
