Agency Wraps 2016 with Total of Four AOY Awards

NEW YORK (Dec. 22, 2016) – French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV) one of the nation’s largest independently-owned public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, has added three Agency of the Year honors to an impressive string of national accolades earned in 2016.

Bulldog Reporter, publisher of the Daily Dog, a national leader in media and PR industry intelligence, today announced the winners of the 2016 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards program, naming FWV as Communications Agency of the Year (Grand Prize), Midsize Agency of the Year and Consumer Agency of the Year.

Earlier this year, the Raleigh, N.C.-based agency earned top honors as North American Consumer Agency of the Year at the 2016 SABRE Awards in New York City, celebrating excellence in PR and marketing.

The Bulldog Stars of PR program, recognizing agencies and individuals for outstanding work in the communication industry, is judged by independent panels of award-winning journalists, making it the only such program where PR professionals and their campaign work are evaluated by the media that they serve. This year’s panels featured select journalists from prestigious media outlets such as The Washington Post, USA Today and The Oregonian, including a Pulitzer Prize winner.

The Stars of PR program presented 41 Gold Awards in various categories and only two Grand Prize Awards, for Communications Professional of the Year and Communications Agency of the Year (FWV). The judging process requires each submission to be scored by at least three judges in the first round before advancing to the elite round where they are reviewed by another four judges.

In addition to its total of four Agency of the Year honors in 2016, FWV won the 2016 North American SABRE Award for Campaign of the Year in Branded Journalism on behalf of long-time client, Wrangler.

The agency was also a finalist for the 2016 Global SABRE Award for Consumer Agency of the Year, and was ranked in the Top 10 of the 2016 Global Creative Index.

Headquartered in Raleigh with offices in New York City, Los Angeles and Tampa, FWV will celebrate its 20th year in 2017.
