Agency shines with two Platinum and nine Gold Awards

RALEIGH (Oct. 30, 2019)French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV) one of the nation’s largest independently-owned public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, was the leading winner at the 2019 Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for Excellence in Communication. FWV took home 20 awards for 10 different clients, including two Platinum awards, the competition’s top honor at the event hosted annually by the Raleigh Public Relations Society. 

FWV received Platinum awards for outstanding achievements on behalf of Wrangler in Social Media and Word of Mouth categories. The agency also took home nine Gold and eight Silver awards with one Honorable Mention. 

Winning Gold were campaigns for Wrangler (5), Certified Angus Beef (2), The J. Peterman Company and the North Carolina SweetPotato Commission. Silver winners included the Wilmington and Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau (3), PSCU (2), ABB, Melitta and Teen Cancer America. An Honorable Mention was awarded to Moe’s Southwest Grill.

The awards competition was judged by members of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Public Relations Society.
