RALEIGH, N.C. (March 7, 2023) — French/West/Vaughan (FWV) – one of the nation’s leading independently held public relations and integrated marketing agencies – ended the night at last week’s American Advertising Awards with five awards, including one Gold and four Silver. The agency was also recognized with a Gold VETTY award earlier this year.

The annual awards show is presented by the American Advertising Foundation Triangle (AAF Triangle). The awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition and celebrate the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. FWV was recognized for creative campaigns for client Pendleton Whisky, receiving a Gold ADDY in cinematography for Stories of Pendleton, a short film shining a light on the people who bring Pendleton, Oregon, to life with stories highlighting the deep relationship between the community, the rodeo and the brand. Winners from the Triangle have the opportunity to advance to district and national competitions. With five total awards, FWV tied for the most awards by a full-service agency.

At the VETTYs, FWV was recognized for work done on behalf of Pets Add Life, the American Pet Products Association’s consumer-facing arm, for its Recharge” campaign. Launched in 2022, the campaign highlights the power pets have to recharge their owners’ minds, bodies and emotions on a daily basis. The VETTY awards are produced by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) and presented during the organization’s annual VMX Conference. It is the only competition dedicated to highlighting marketing excellence in the animal healthcare industry.

We are always honored to receive awards like this, as they are truly a testament to the clients that trust us to do meaningful work on their behalf,” said FWV Chairman & CEO Rick French. From bringing the essence of a heritage brand to life through long-form storytelling to influencing public sentiment around the power of pets, we are proud of these most recent accolades.”

Headquartered in Raleigh, FWV has offices in New York, Tampa, Los Angeles, Greater Boston and Detroit. Since its founding in 1997, FWV has amassed more than 1,500 PR, advertising and digital marketing awards on behalf of a blue-chip client roster and has now been named National or Global Agency of the Year 25 times.
