FWV takes home top honors for its work on behalf of Wrangler’s Lil Nas X campaign
RALEIGH (Feb. 13, 2020) – French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s largest independently-owned public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, last night received Best in Real-Time Engagement honors in the Social Media & Community Engagement category at the 2020 North American Innovation SABRE Awards. The SABRE Awards recognize campaigns across the public relations, advertising and marketing industry that demonstrate the highest levels of strategic planning, creativity and business results at a national level.
Out of more than 500 entries submitted, FWV was recognized for its work on behalf of long-time client, Wrangler, and the launch of its Lil Nas X collection.
“Given the number of entries this year, the competition was fierce,” said FWV Chairman & CEO Rick French. “We are extremely honored to be acknowledged for the work we did in partnership with Wrangler and its innovative, progressive Lil Nas X collection.”
This year’s jury was tasked with selecting finalists based on the following core questions:
- Did it take courage?
- Was it authentic?
- Was it engaging?
- Was it shareable?
- Was it sticky?
- Was it ethical?
- Did it change behavior?
The judges determined that FWV’s work with Wrangler and the Lil Nas X collection “demonstrated the most superior achievement in branding, reputation and engagement through the lens of innovation.”
