FRENCH / WEST / VAUGHAN Announces Five New Hires Across Key Practice Areas as Agency Continues to Expand

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 2, 2021) — French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV), the nation’s 15th largest independently held public relations and integrated marketing agency, today announced five new hires in influencer marketing, account service, social and paid media in support of the agency’s continued growth. This announcement comes on the heels of news about a senior promotion and two new hires across multiple offices.

Megan French joins FWV as Influencer and Experiential Marketing Manager and will focus on further elevating the agency’s capabilities in this space. With seven years of experience in celebrity journalism and event planning, French previously worked as an Event Manager and Social Media Director at Lindsay Landman Events and an Online Staff Writer at Us Weekly, where she managed the publication’s digital and social media content. She has also written for top-tier national publications including Teen Vogue and People StyleWatch, among others. French is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, holding a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism with a concentration in fashion and beauty communications.

Casey Sokolovic will serve as an Account Executive, providing support to a variety of the agency’s food and beverage and consumer clients. She comes to FWV from The Ocean Project, a nonprofit organization focused on ocean conservation, and formerly worked as an Account Executive for The Integer Group, developing branding and in-store marketing strategies for FedEx. Sokolovic holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in management from NC State University, as well as a master’s degree in global luxury management from Skema Business School.

Sarah Cunningham comes to FWV as a Social Media Coordinator from Devana Solutions, a pharmaceutical technology firm, where she developed social media content and other branding initiatives. She will assist in social media efforts for various client verticals including travel and tourism and consumer products. She earned a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication from Texas Christian University.

Melanie Flowers joins the agency as an Account Coordinator supporting several of FWV’s health and wellness, government and professional services clients. A recent graduate of NC State University, Melanie studied communications with a concentration in public relations and served as the university’s student body president and chair of the Council of Student Body Presidents for the University of North Carolina System. Previously, she has worked as a Media Specialist for the YMCA and assistant director of media and marketing for the North Carolina Association of Residence Halls.

FWV welcomes Yahssain Khan as a Paid Media Coordinator. In his role, Khan will support paid media efforts including planning, strategy and media buying for numerous agency accounts. He previously held internship roles in marketing with Hanesbrands and recently graduated from NC State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
