Respected Voice in International Pork Industry Dedicated to Ensuring Socially Responsible and Profitable Operations in North Carolina
RALEIGH, N.C. (March 5, 2018) – French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading independent public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, today announced it has been selected by the North Carolina Pork Council (NCPC) to lead its consumer communications efforts. NCPC is the respected voice of the North Carolina pork industry, committed to providing meaningful leadership while promoting animal well-being and other considerations that ensure safety and public health.
FWV will provide strategic counsel and execution of consumer communications for NCPC, including brand positioning, creative development, media relations, social media, and paid media strategies. The agency will oversee NCPC’s consumer-facing communications designed to foster positive sentiment, engagement, and overall awareness of the pork industry and its impact on all North Carolinians.
NCPC is the oldest state pork producer organization in the nation that has operated under a mandatory checkoff funding system since its inception. Originally chartered in 1962 as the North Carolina Swine Industry Association, NCPC seeks to ensure sound public policy while generating awareness of the industry’s efforts to produce safe food, protect and promote animal well-being, safeguard natural resources, and have a positive impact on communities across the state.
