Raleigh-Based Firm has Accrued 15 National Agency of the Year Honors
RALEIGH (Nov. 28, 2018) – French/West/Vaughan (FWV) one of the nation’s largest independently-owned public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, has captured four separate honors as part of the 2018 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards program, including Consumer Agency of the Year (Silver), Most Innovative Agency (Silver), Agency That Gets Results (Gold) and Agency Leader of the Year (Silver) recognizing FWV Chairman & CEO Rick French.
Presented by industry journal Bulldog Reporter, the awards salute extraordinary individual and agency contributions to PR and communications over the past year. The Stars of PR Awards were judged by a panel of nationally-recognized journalists from publications such as Forbes and The Oregonian (including a Pulitzer Prize winner).
FWV, the only N.C.-based public relations firm to ever earn Agency of the Year honors, has now won 15 AOY awards and three individual leadership accolades in its 21-year history. The agency is ranked No. 14 nationally among all U.S. PR firms and No. 1 in the Southeast. It is listed as the nation’s third largest Consumer-focused PR firm.

The recognition of French with the Silver award for Agency Leader of the Year comes on the heels of his induction this year into the N.C. Media & Journalism Hall of Fame. He is also the recipient of the 2018 Watt Huntley Award for Lifetime Achievement, presented by the Raleigh Public Relations Society.
